The workshops suggest a spatial planned intervention in drawings and hands-on light construction in scale 1:1 of build objects - like furniture - towards creating seating and leisure outdoor spaces for the local community. A combination of materials will be used, with preference to re-used materials. The students will learn how to design and work with materials and will experiment with the design of an indoor and outdoor space. The workshop program will reflect actual needs of the local community using the space.

This year all workshops will be held at the Neot-Shoshanim Community Center in Holon. Each workshop deals individually and in collaboration with the other groups, in co-design that includes planning and implementation of interventions at a given site.

In the workshops we will deal with multidisciplinary design for creating physical structures, visual communication and interventions at 1: 1 scale in the courtyard area of ​​the center.

​

During the week:
We will examine the site and its surroundings and become acquainted with the community center and the local communities (a form of public participation).
We will develop a program with a mix of relevant uses for activating and revitalizing the public space.
We will develop a common design language and guidelines for planning of each project.
We will work with materials and create spaces in designated open spaces of the community center.

Each group will work under the guidance of an expert from Israel and / or from abroad.

הסדנאות של אקוויק השנה מתקיימות במרכז הקהילתי נאות-שושנים של רשת קהילה ופנאי בעיר חולון. כל סדנה תעסוק בנפרד וביחד בעיצוב משותף ומעשי הכולל התערבויות קונקרטיות בפרויקט אמיתי באתר נתון.

 

בסדנאות נעסוק בעיצוב רב-תחומי ליצירת אובייקטים ותקשורת חזותית ובהתערבויות פיסיות בקנ"מ 1:1 בשטח פנים ובשטח חצר המרכז בתוך מתן דגש לעבודה עם חומרים אקולוגיים, למשל, שימוש מחדש ((Re-Use ומיחזור (Recycle) של חומרים.

 

במהלך השבוע:

נבחן את האתר וסביבתו ונערוך הכרות עם המרכז הקהילתי והקהילות המקומיות (שיתוף ציבור).

נגבש פרוגרמה קונקרטית ובה תמהיל שימושים רלבנטיים להפעלת והחייאת המרחב הציבורי.

נגבש שפה עיצובית וקווים מנחים משותפים לתכנון ועיצוב של כל פרויקט.

נעבוד עם חומרים ונייצר מקומות במרחב של כל סדנה במרחב הפתוח במרכז הקהילתי.

 

כל קבוצה תעבוד בהנחית מומחה מישראל ו/או מחו"ל.
