Lorin Niculae (Romania) Lecturer at the University of Architecture and Urbanism “Ion Mincu” (U.A.U.I.M.), Bucharest, since 1998. Ph-D of the same institution in 2013 with the “Arhipera_The Social participatory Architecture”, doctoral thesis. He began working in the area of social architecture in 2007, introducing the participatory design method for the communities living in extreme poverty, beneficiaries of housing projects. Currently, he is the president of the Arhipera Association, founded in 2011. Owner of Archos 2002 design studio. Architectural experience since 1994. Founding member of the Romanian Order of Architects (ROA). Currently member of the National Council of ROA. Humanitas Library founding shareholder. Working group leader of the COST Action Writing Urban Places. New Narratives of the European City. Lorin's participation is made possible thanks to the generous support of the Romanian Cultural Institute and the Architects' Union of Romania.

Till Boettger (Germany) Professor of Design and Presentation Methodology, University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hildesheim. Architectural Firm with Tina Wallbaum in Berlin, at 11 D'Atelier for Architecture. Previously Assistant Professor in the Department of Design and Spatial Design, Bauhaus University Weimar. Dissertation on Threshold Spaces: Transitions in Architecture. Previously Adjunct Professor at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Previously training as a cabinet maker, studied architecture in Aachen, Paris and Dresden. Numerous publications on design methodology and modern architecture.

Braha Kunda (Israel) Architecture and Environmental Design Senior Lecturer and former Head of Interior Design Department at the Design Faculty HIT - Israel. She received her B. Design from Bezalel Academy and M. Arch from Rice University, Houston USA. Braha participated also in the Heschel Organization Environmental Leadership program, and is involved in the formation and activity of Mabadat Pais Design Terminal.Braha has professional and academic experience in total architectural and environmental design of housing, commercial and public projects in a wide range of scales. Major interest in contextual design related to social and cultural aspects. Braha supports ECOWEEK activity in Israel.

Elias Messinas (Israel/Greece) architect and environmental consultant, educator and social entrepreneur, member of the American Institute of Architects, graduate of Yale School of Architecture, Environmental Design Dept. of Bezalel Academy, and holds a doctorate from the National Technical University of Athens. He attended the M.Sc. program on Environment and Development at NTUA. Elias teaches sustainable design and is the author of numerous articles, two books, and the editor of several catalogues and the first upcoming ECOWEEK publication ECOWEEK The Book#1: 50 Voices for Sustainability. Elias is the founding chairman and coordinator of ECOWEEK. more

Iris Givoli Faiman (Israel) Architect, Environmental Consultant, Lecturer. Holds a B.Arch degree from the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning, Technion Institute of Technology and a  M.Arch from the architecture faculty at Columbia University in New York. Iris is Certified by the Standards Institution of Israeli as an Environmental Consultant, and is a founding partner at STUDIO MEKOMI ARCHTECTURE established in 2004, specializing in private housing, neighborhoods in kibbutzim and design of social facilities for the JOINT organization (JDC) in Israel. Iris is a Lecturer at the Interior Design Faculty of the Holon Institute of Technology and in the Israeli Green Building Council. Iris has initiated a variety of energy saving home improvement projects.

Riva Waldman (Israel) Chemist with Masters in Biology and Practical Environmental Engineering, is the Director of the Center for Environmental Education, Hiriya Recycling Park. Within this position Riva is managing a team of 30 stuff members including: designers, developers, instructors & guides who are implementing advanced perceptions regarding waste management and environmental education among groups of visitors and different audiences. Is mentoring teachers and school principles. Is leading steering committees of sustainability promoters in 6 municipalities, in order to promote environmental awareness with "tailor made" programs. Is involved in social initiatives, public relations & International affairs with international organizations, etc. Is organizing events, working groups & conferences for a variety of target audiences and is implementing behavioral research insights of my academic research in outreach campaigns of municipalities.

Roni Mero (Israel) Art Director, Visual Communication and presentation Lecturer at the Interior Design Faculty HIT. She received her B. Design from Bezalel Academy. Roni is doing her M.Des at Shenkar – Engineering, Design and Art school. Roni is the owner of Me"roni studio for design and branding, she is a curator of social-political exhibitions, she writes at 2 Israeli web magazines of fashion and life-style in Tel-Aviv. Roni Mero has professional experience in re-branding and presentation of the yearly budget of some of the largest municipalities of Dan District; she was the art-director of Hiriya educational department. She was the art director of several social-political projects. Major interest in checking borders and boundaries and redefine them in a new context.

Ayelet Tarlovsky (Israel) A multidisciplinary artist & designer, graduate of MID Master of integrated Design at Holon Institute of Technology, Faculty of Design, Award of Excellence on final project for MID titled A community vertical gardens: a modular system  on Biological Material & Botanical Research. BFA from Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design Jerusalem, Faculty of Art & Ceramics and Glass Design. Art & design consultant to the Admission Committee for the Nachalat Binyamin Arts and Crafts Fair, Tel Aviv Municipality. Established, manages and curates "Artefiory" Art Gallery, Tel Aviv. Lecturer and instructor at Department of Art and Industrial Design, Avni  Institute of Art and Design Jaffa -Tel Aviv. Bat Yam Institute of Art involved in pro bono work with people with special needs.
