Konstantinos Giannakopoulos works in the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology of the National Centre for Scientific Research "Demokritos". He has worked in several countries (and a few companies) to develop Advanced Materials and technologies that are the basis of nanoelectronics, magnetic storage, drug delivery etc. Besides research and teaching, he is behind the project STIMULATE for the stimulation of public interest towards Advanced Materials in Europe; during this project, a unique set of free films, educational material and a game has been created. more

Valerie Brachya Lecturer on sustainability and environmental planning at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and at Tel Aviv University. Former Senior Director General for Policy and Planning of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, Israel.

Ms Brachya initiated environmental planning in government in Israel and was a member of the National Board for Planning and Building and many national level planning committees .  She promoted sustainable development following the Rio Global Summit and led the governmental process for a sustainability strategy following the Johannesburg Global Summit. She was awarded the ‘Green Globe’ of the civil society environmental forum and was honored by the Israel Planning Association. On retirement from Government, Ms Brachya joined the Jerusalem Institute for Israel Studies, promoting a range of research studies on environmental policy.

Natalia Negru is the coordinator of the book From streets to residential complex.  Eight hypostases of living in contemporary Bucharest published in 2016 by Pro Universitaria. The volume is part of the project Lived-In Homes. Cultural diversity of dwelling in Bucharest and the neighboring surroundings developed by VIRA Association in partnership with The Movement for European Action and Initiative Association and The National Museum of Romanian Peasant. The project is funded through a Grant offered by Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and The Romanian Government, part of the PA17/RO 13 Promotion of Diversity in Culture and Arts within European Cultural Heritage Program.

Andrei​​ Mihail​ is a PhD candidate at SNSPA Bucharest. ​Andrei worked in research teams studying urban and rural marginalisation of low-income individuals, the subjective experiences of patients living in medical institutions or the cultural practices in two districts of Bucharest. ​In their project Creative Campus the team studied the needs of housing and leisure, as well as methods of animation and urban redevelopment of interest to residents of​ the area Regie.
