Einar Jarmund (Norway) Graduated from the Oslo School of Architecture in 1987. Einar earned his Master’s degree from the University of Washington in Seattle. Einar taught and worked in Seattle, and has taught in Oslo and Bergen, and was a visiting professor at Washington University in St. Louis, at University of Arizona, Tucsonand at Rhodes Island School of Design, Providence. Einar shared a professorship at TH Lund, Sweden from 2007 to 2013. Einer together with Hakon Vigsaes founded Jarmund/Vigsanaes Architects in 1996. Ruth Mateus-Berr (Austria) Artist, researcher, and social designer, graduated from the Department of Art, Sciences and Art Education at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. She has realized several core projects for the Austrian Design Institute and is professor, head of expertise of Design at the Department of Social Design, and chairwoman of the senate at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. In her awarded works she focuses on water as important resource for the development of a peaceful society: 4 Layers of Sari (2007) or reduction of carbon dioxide: Cool city Vienna. Empathy for Climate Hangovers in a City (2010, 2012), art & health projects (Bank Austria Social Award 2014, Occursus 2016, eAward Austria 2017), projects against racism. She founded the Applied Design Thinking LAB Vienna 2009, where she engages in interdisciplinary design education. Here within she has been supervising interdisciplinary and participatory urbanistic projects. 2016 she was initiator and co-founder of the Politics of Fear Collective. Till Boettger (Germany) Professor of Design and Presentation Methodology, University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hildesheim. Architectural Firm with Tina Wallbaum in Berlin, at 11 D'Atelier for Architecture. Previously Assistant Professor in the Department of Design and Spatial Design, Bauhaus University Weimar. Dissertation on Threshold Spaces: Transitions in Architecture. Previously Adjunct Professor at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Previously training as a cabinet maker, studied architecture in Aachen, Paris and Dresden. Numerous publications on design methodology and modern architecture.

Martina Reichelt (Germany) Freelance artist in the fields of drawing, performance and dance improvisation. Architect and Feldenkrais Practitioner. Currently Research Assistant in the Department of Architecture, University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hildesheim. Member of the artist group R2M2 and the gallery ep.contemporary Berlin.

Braha Kunda (Israel) Architecture and Environmental Design Senior Lecturer and former Head of Interior Design Department at the Design Faculty HIT - Israel. She received her B. Design from Bezalel Academy and M. Arch from Rice University, Houston USA. Braha participated also in the Heschel Organization Environmental Leadership program, and is involved in the formation and activity of Mabadat Pais Design Terminal.Braha has professional and academic experience in total architectural and environmental design of housing, commercial and public projects in a wide range of scales. Major interest in contextual design related to social and cultural aspects. Braha supports ECOWEEK activity in Israel.

Roni Levit (Israel) Visual Communications Artist, born in Jerusalem. After graduating with honors from Bezalel Academy of Art & Design in 2005, she established “Studio Roni Levit” in 2006 Tel Aviv. The studio specializes in information design, examining the limits of objective and subjective facts while also attempting to measure concepts that lie beyond quantification. The studio produces pioneering infographic work for Israel’s major newspapers, numerous NGO's, selected private companies, and cultural publications. Since 2008 Roni Levit is a lecturer at the Bezalel Academy of Art, implementing and teaching Information Design courses. more

Elias Messinas (Israel/Greece) architect and environmental consultant, educator and social entrepreneur, member of the American Institute of Architects, graduate of Yale School of Architecture, Environmental Design Dept. of Bezalel Academy, and holds a doctorate from the National Technical University of Athens. He attended the M.Sc. program on Environment and Development at NTUA. Elias teaches sustainable design and is the author of numerous articles, two books, and the editor of several catalogues and the first upcoming ECOWEEK publication ECOWEEK The Book#1: 50 Voices for Sustainability. Elias is the founding chairman and coordinator of ECOWEEK. more

Zameret Harel Kanot (Israel) Designer Lecturer HIT - Holon institute of Technology. Graduate of Holon Institute of Technology, and M.Sc. from the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning, Technion Institute of Technology. Zameret's research and professional career is interdisciplinary, focused on the intersection of architecture and education. Specifically, Zameret studies the relationship between children and their urban environment and the relationship between movement, space and learning. Zamert has worked with children and architecture students in several urban centers (Kiryat–Yam, Nesher, Holon and Tel–Aviv) for creating urban design based on relationship.

Rebecca Sternberg (Israel) Interdisciplinary strategic design, media, experience, environments. Visiting Senior Lecturer Dept. of Landscape Architecture Technion - Israel, MA Design, Innovation,  Entrepreneurship Comas - Israel. She received a BA in Social Studies from Harvard University, Boston, MA and a MArch in Architecture from Rice University, Houston, TX. Co Founder of Megama an interdisciplinary strategic design office working across areas of ideation, branding, media, experience and environments for a range of technology, cultural and civic organizations.  Major interest in innovation, digital services, performative landscapes, and urbanization. more

Galia Hanoch Roe (Israel) Society for Protection of Nature, Director of the Tel-Aviv–Jaffa Metropolitan Area Chapter. Galia  is a landscape architect, a graduate of Rutgers University Lanscape Architecture program, and a graduate of Yale Univesity and CUNY Graduate School with a doctorate in Music.  She has worked as a landscape architect at LRK Princeton and "Minaad" firms in Israel and has led her own private firm which specialized in participatory planning of public spaces.  Galia has lectured and published widely. As director of the Tel -Aviv Municipal Area Community of the  SPNI, Galia is leading an array of activities in the realm of nature preservation, community and sustainability, community gardens and residents'  forums.

Elad Orr (Israel) Industrial designer, HIT graduate with Bachelor of Design, with Teaching Certificate from Ben Gurion University in Arts and Design. Designer co-working with his wife from their studio at Kibbutz Sde Boker at the Negev desert. Member of the Yeruham Pais Design Lab, at the Yeruham Municipal Council, which is focused on local culture and inspiration as a basis for design projects. Teacher of Arts and Design at the Noiman High-School in Be'er Sheva.
