7 DAYS OF GENIUS from March 5-12, 2017, 92Y launches a dynamic week-long look at the idea of genius: what it is, why it impacts and how genius can better the world. Blog | more
ECOWEEK joins 92Y as a global partner once again to host presentations, conversations, dialogues, debates, workshops, and film screenings about the nature of genius. (see Genius 2016) During this week, ECOWEEK and its partners, are hosting events to explore methodologies and good examples of innovation and design for public good in entrepreneurship, housing, arts, crafts and design Join us in Prishtina, Holon, Jerusalem, London, Sarajevo, Thessaloniki, Bucharest, Mumbai, and Athens to learn, share, and network!
How can genius designs and innovations address the challenges we face today and those we will face in the future? How these ideas can have a positive and lasting impact? How these ideas can be developed and implemented? Who are the key players? What is the contribution of the designer and entrepreneur?
The ECOWEEK GENIUS events are an opportunity to share ideas, to inspire, to connect with creative people, to learn from each other and from the experts, to network and cooperate for (positive) change.
It involves presenting ideas, examples and good practices, and holding informal discussions to learn and share.
If you are an architect, artist, designer, landscape designer or a creative and innovative professional and entrepreneur and you want to learn how your work can have a positive impact on society, and to make a difference, then JOIN US!
7 DAYS OF GENIUS

7 DAYS OF GENIUS is a major week-long inquiry into the idea of genius: what it is, how it impacts and why it matters. The festival includes stage events at 92Y in New York City with guests like Brian Greene, Malcolm Gladwell and Walter Issaacson; events hosted by partner organizations; and a strong digital and broadcast component through partnerships with leading outlets, including MSNBC, National Geographic and others. A major part of the festival is the satellite events organized with partner organizations, including MIT, Skirball Center in LA, Georgetown University, and many others. Internationally, events will take place with partners in Greece, Israel, Romania, Kenya, Sierra Leone, England, Germany and Nepal. Blog | more

ECOWEEK is a non-profit non-governmental organization with the mission to raise environmental awareness and to promote the principles of Sustainability. ECOWEEK organizes international conferences and sustainable design workshops, bringing together professionals and students of - primarily - Architecture, Design, Landscape Architecture, and Environmental Engineering in 15 countries. The ECOWEEK NET network has members in 54 countries. more
